Stewart Holdsworth in Penkridge asks:
Could you bring in players from England U21s?
"There are a number of interesting players and like all interesting players they can make a lot of progress in a year. So we are following them."
Paul Rinkauskas in Keighley asks:
Should there be a restriction on the number of foreign players playing with English clubs?
"It's not for me to decide, irrespective of what my thoughts are on the matter. The situation we have at the moment in Europe with the free circulation of workers means there's not going to be any restrictions, whether we want them or not. But having said that the more English players there are playing for English clubs the better it is for me. But at the same time it's good to see the good English players tend to play for the good English teams irrespective of the number of foreign players. The quality comes out."
Mark Wright in Preston asks:
Do you see Theo Walcott getting his chance with England this year?
"He's part of the group, he's a very interesting player and we are following him closely. Unfortunately he's not playing regularly for Arsenal but he's certainly part of our plans we are following him."
Bradley Banford in Mansfield asks:
Do you think David Beckham can play again for England?
"Beckham played because he deserved to play, not to get his 100th cap. I know what he can give me and I know what he can give England. And if he keeps on doing it I see no reason why he can't play."
Anthony Brian in Portsmouth asks:
Does a player's conduct off the field affect your selection on it?
"I believe players off the field should behave decently and normally and not do things that create problems and headlines. Normally I'm not influenced by their behaviour off the field but obviously if some player were to do something particularly big or out of the ordinary I would have to consider my actions."
Anthony Brian in Portsmouth asks:
What is your view on players who feign fouls, pull shirts and cheat? Is this something you think should be eradicated from the game?
"There are some fouls that get committed on the pitch. So shirt-pulling depends on the circumstances. If a player is clean through on goal then a defender will do what they can to stop them. It's like tactical fouling. I know it's unsporting behaviour but at the same time you are trying to prevent a goal. I'm not saying it shouldn't be punished - it should be punished. But this is something that is part of football.
"But what I don't like in the slightest is reckless tackles and dangerous play that can cause injury to players. And what I like even less is simulation and diving because this is deliberately trying to cheat the referee, to cheat the fans and I really don't like it when players who dive get a reward in terms of a penalty or goal. It really should have no part in the game."
Dean Calvert in Mexborough asks:
Fabio, how is your English coming on?
"I am studying English every day when I'm not going around the country watching football games. I understand it fairly well but I don't think my English is good enough to hold a press conference in English here, especially as journalists are more than ready to jump on any word I say!"
Helen Coe in Barnsley asks:
From what you've seen so far in England is there anything English football could learn from Italian football, given that Italian football has been so much more successful on the international stage?
"I think everyone has something to learn from others, nobody knows everything they need to know, but having said that, different clubs and national teams have their own style of play and their own way of playing on the pitch. It's important to improve the way a specific team plays so it's a case of working towards improving the potential of the team. Having said that there are already a number of foreign managers in the Premiership that are changing the style of play and improving it."
Jay Thobhani in Leicester asks:
You started your England career with a victory over Switzerland but what do you think the biggest problem was when you played in France?
"I met the France manager just the other day in Barcelona and we talked about the match we played last month. He told me we played very well in the first half, which I completely agree with. That's why I said we made a great improvement. Of course in the second half I wanted to see other players play in an important match with strong opposition."
Simon Smith in Swindon asks:
Does a manager adapt his style to every new club or keep the same style and get the club to adapt to him?
"I think we all have our own way to see football and to see the way our teams play on the pitch. But having said that I have changed systems and styles during my career many times and in fact I like to change it sometimes even in the same match."
John Cotton in Norwich asks:
What are your views on the idea of a winter break and would it give you more time to work with the England players?
"Yes, a winter break would give the players time to recover and would only be useful. But tradition and the way English football is dictates that in the winter and Christmas period you need to play a lot. So this is not something that is really down to me to change, it's down to the FA and Premier League. It's not for me."
Michael Wales in Basingstoke asks:
England has some very skilful players yet seems to fail in terms of winning trophies. Why do you think that is?
"This is my toughest job, understanding why this happens and solving the problem. This is the problem that all my predecessors have had. I'm hoping I will be able to understand why and rectify the problem."
Alan Johnson in Ripley,Derbys asks:
Which club side did you enjoy managing the most?
"I have enjoyed managing all the teams I've managed. I have great memories of my time at Roma, Juventus, Milan and Real Madrid. Each one of them has been a challenge. I look at this as my last, my final challenge and I'm enjoying this. I think the strongest team I was given to manage was Milan."
Marek Foltyn in Cieszyn asks:
Is the English Premier League the best in the world?
"Looking at the performance of the English teams in the Champions League then yes, absolutely. At the moment it's the best in the world."
Daniel Schembri in Torino asks:
What do you want from a captain and have you any thoughts on who the permanent England captain will be?
"I will choose my permanent captain from next season. As for what a captain needs to be, he needs to set the example on the pitch, be a leader, help the rest of the team. But at the same time he needs to be a model outside the pitch and outside football as well."
Jordan Law Edwards in Wolverhampton asks:
Frank Lampard has had some very sad news about the passing of his mother, do you have a message for him?
"The mother figure is important for everyone and I can only pass my sympathy and condolences to him and wish him the best to get through this difficult moment. I know he is a strong lad and I know he will get through it."
Thomas Daley in Stoke-On-Trent asks:
Who is the greatest defender you have ever worked with?
"I have to name two, Baresi and Maldini."
Matthew Worthington in Preston asks:
Fabio, I and the rest of the country have a lot of respect for you, you have achieved many great things in your career. I hope you will achieve the ultimate with England.
After being with the England team for two months what are your views on the Premier League and how we can improve the number of players available to you?
"I can't perform miracles, these are the players we have and I can only call up the player we have. Creating new players is a long process, it takes a lot of time and you need talent to begin with. It's not going to be fast. I can't perform miracles. Talents can start playing for the top clubs when they are very young, Rooney was only 18 when he went to Man United and Ryan Giggs - ok he's not English - was 18 when he started playing. If a player is good they can start really young."
Nick Orchard in Swindon asks:
Fabio, This is a big challenge for you, moving to a new country and taking on an international role, I wish you all the best of luck in the position.
Can England with the 2010 World Cup?
"Let's qualify first and then we will talk about winning it!"
