Worthington Encourages Thompson Move
Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington has said he would like to see Peter Thompson move to a Scottish or English team.
The striker currently plays his football for Linfield in the Irish Premier League, but Worthington believes he may have to move on to advance his career.
"To play at a higher level would be important to Peter and it would also be good for Northern Ireland," said Worthington.
"We have a few strikers but you never have enough.
"To have four, five or six, to mix and match with would be most useful."
