Wales defender Chris Gunter has issued a rallying cry to his international team-mates, telling them that they must get off to a good start in their World Cup qualifiers.
The Welsh squad to face Azerbaijan on Saturday includes six players under the age of 21, but Gunter knows that they have no time to settle in.
"There's no time for us to develop," said Gunter. "We need to repay the manager's faith in - we cannot wait until the next qualification campaign.
"I hope the crowd come to give us a lift because their support will be invaluable to a young team like ours.
"If we start the campaign well and start off with some momentum, I'm sure the people will come.
"We must be ready now in this qualification campaign and give it a good go.
"We've got the players, now we've got to have the belief to deliver."
